I like it too and run it on my laptops, and from what I have been told and reading the convos in the beta newsgroup for MSE is that MSFT are not going to charge at all for this, they learned a lesson I feel from OneCare and decided to and this was to in some way offer Trusted Computing feel to all, as the information that was collected from many surveys is that many computer users dont have any security apps, out of date ones that the licence expired on and dont update, and they dont update, so offering free as many other companies do (Awil and AVG etc etc) does go some way to help curb malware as whats not good about FREE, all it takes is the time to download and install, so everyone should be able to achive this. Microsoft Security Essentials is a free download from Microsoft that is simple to install, easy to use, and always kept up to date so you can be assured your PC is protected by the latest.
